Chalet ALPEN LOTUS is situated on a quite dead-end road which makes it ideal for peace-seeking holiday makers or
families with children. The accomodation for up to six people offers an ideal base camp for nature lovers and
hikers. The chalet is well placed to explore and enjoy the surrounding Haslital, Jungfrau and Obwalden areas.

It consists of one half of a traditional Swiss farm house, containing three bedrooms (for four adults and two
children), a dining room and a large living room with games and books together with a well equipped kitchen. The
bathroom has a separate bath and shower. There also a veranda to enjoy the morning sunshine and a garden with a
terrace.

The chalet was built in 1884 as a farm house and still features many of the original details, like the interior
wooden doors and central stove. In the last half of the 20th century a new wing was built, together with a small
garden cottage.

There is only a single parking space available. The chalet cannot be reached with two cars, as the turning space is
limited to the single parking space and the rest is a private road belonging to the neighbours. A second car can be
parked for free at the Ufem Egg resort further up the main road (Eggweg 9, Innertkirchen)

Location

The chalet is south-facing with a view on the Innertkircher village and is situated just above the intersection
of the Grimsel and Susten pass roads. The well-regarded Tännler restaurant is nearby. Innertkirchen itself (at 10m
walking distance) has a Volg supermarket, several cafés and restaurants, a bank and a tourist information
office. The larger village of Meiringen has several larger supermarkets, shops and other amenities at a 10m drive
or bus/train ride.

Route

Meiringen train station has regular connections from/to Bern and Luzern. From the train station there is bus route
(and a local train) to Innertkirchen. The chalet has a bus stop nearby on the Susten pass road.

Interior

Two large bedrooms with double beds (one including a baby cot) and a children’s room with a two-person
bunk bed. Living room with toys and books, a dining room, kitchen, bathroom with a bath and separate shower,
internet, television, veranda and terrace. There’s also a desk available for use with a laptop.

Miscellaneous

The chalet is non-smoking only. To be mindful of our neighbours, there’s a quit period after
22:00. Any pets need explicit permission beforehand.
